Principal's Message

I want to warmly welcome you to Mudgee Public School.  I have the privilege and honour of leading this outstanding school that has been successfully educating the children of Mudgee for over 150 years.  I trust that as you work your way through our website you will see that
our school is a place of educational excellence as well as a place where your child will be cared for in a personal way.

Our website will inform you of the outstanding and varied programs on offer to children at Mudgee Public.  This includes: our extensive
arts’ & academic programs; the outstanding technology that children are using on a daily basis; how we care for and encourage your
child to be the best they can be; and also gives you details of our outstanding Special Education Unit which caters for children who
have a wide variety of special learning needs.

2012 will continue to see the school grow numerically.  One of the additions to the school in 2012 will be appointment of Mrs Rogers as relieving Deputy Principal.  In addition to this we will continue to see extra classrooms arrive at the school to cater for the new arrivals. 
Along with our extra classrooms, our P & C, in conjunction with the staff are embarking upon a 5-year playground beautification plan.

2012 is the third year of our new school uniform.  Photos of the uniform can be viewed elsewhere on our site.  After a tremendous
amount of work in 2009 by a dedicated group of women from our P & C, the change to the new uniform came into place at the
beginning of 2010. All new enrolments at Mudgee Public wear the new uniform.
