Move into Reading and Writing
Move into Reading and Writing is a Kindergarten Parent Support program which strengthens home/school partnerships early in Kindergarten by giving parents the opportunity to come in and participate in literacy based activities with their child once a week for five weeks.
Our dynamic, informative and hands on program provides lots of ideas for home: home reading, treasure hunts, lists, notes, writing, making books from photos, sequencing (putting stories back together), environmental print and nursery rhymes.
All participants receive a take home folder with the ideas and work samples that have been completed during the program.
